A Few Succesful Blogging Tips – Growing Your Subscriber List

by on Sep.08, 2011, under Free Traffic

The blog that’s successful is most often due to a variety of reasons and a focus on growing their subscriber list. When I subscribe to anyone’s RSS feed it’s because I have the desire to return to that website so I add them to my feed reader for future use.

How To Have A Success Blog

1. Posts Need to be Published Often

Article or blog posts need to be published on your sites often, like every couple of day, if you want to keep your readers coming back, even if they’re subscribed to your feed. Your readers will get used to coming back when you publish articles in a regular fashion.

Blogs that don’t update their sites frequently get left behind. I kind of forget about them after not seeing any action from them in my feed reader.

2. Don’t Be Too Serious, Lighten Up Your Blog Posts

I spent my time learning things that will help me make more money online but sometimes the content just puts me to sleep. The content is educational but I can’t read it if I fall asleep, right.

Tell me a joke or a story that fits your topic and my brain remembers it much faster.

3. Not A Funny Person Then Tell A Story

I read lots of blogs, that I am subscribed to, where the blog owner just isn’t that funny but they can tell a good story and use story telling to help their readers keep interested and reading.

4. Jokes And Stories Are Great But Content Needs To Hold Value-Added Information

While I am in work mode I read to gain knowledge because knowledge is power. I don’t mind the jokes and stories as long as they are teaching me something at the same time, that’s vital. When I am not working my business I love having fun and visit a completely different type of blog.

5. Use A RSS Feed Reader To Track Blogs You Like

I don’t just bookmark sites I like I add them to my news reader and check them daily to see if there is any new content I might need to read. Just using bookmarks doesn’t work for me. RSS Readers on the other hand help me to organize the blogs into all the niches I work.

I use Bloglines as my RSS feed reader and find it easy to use. I structure it the same as I do my bookmarks, based on my niches.

I like Bloglines over bookmarking because I open it and instantly can see which blogs have new posts since I last opened my feed reader.

A method I use to attract target traffic and to increase subscribers is using Free Traffic System. I write articles, spin them and publish the spin code to FTS to increase backlinks and pageranking.

There is certainly one hard and fast rule in building cash flow for your internet site. Have a continuous flow of web site traffic. If nobody visits your site, it hardly bares a chance of earning cash. I only say if you are a small or home business owner, why spend money buying website traffic when you can get traffic absolutely free?

You can definitely see your enthusiasm in the work you write. The world hopes for more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always follow your heart.
